I've since bought back 2 of my captured colonists, but didn't have enough money to buy back two others. Thankfully, the one original colonist who survived was my doctor. This group of raiders destroyed a few things, but then decided to just steal whatever they could carry (a thousand or so steel, all of my plasteel, and half a stack of components). Of course, this second raid comes from the opposite direction, so I take my 3 colonists and just run them away from the base. I decided to give them refuge, gambling on the 25% chance that they would come from the direction the raiders were leaving, making them get into a fight so they'd drop my colonists and I could save some of them after the smoke cleared. The man in black shows up while they were still being dragged off the map, so now I have 2 colonists.Īnd just as all this is going down, as they're still leaving the map with my unconscious colonists, I get a message from someone being chased by about 18 raiders. The one remaining guy was running for his life when the raiders called it quits and left with their captives. 2 colonists were killed outright in the fighting, 8 others were downed and kidnapped. A swarm of Warband Cultist raiders (Medieval Times mod) descended upon me, and my hastily assembled caltrop and wood spike defenses were woefully inadequate.
