So yesterday morning I found to forgotten hotcross buns leftover from Easter weekend and I had a light bulb moment. The sweetness of the mosbolletjie bread, the salty bacon, the bitter rocket and the oozing egg, topped with liquid gold, every bite is just heavenly. They serve softly poached eggs on toasted Mosbolletje bread, crispy bacon, fresh rocket and a ladle of silky hollandaise.

I was arrogant enough to rate a restaurant on just this one item on their menu, if they mess with my soft poached eggs, or I don’t like their hollandaise, they are no good.
